Congratulations on acquiring the Minimal Pedal 4! Please take the time to read the original instructions listed in the operations guide in order to derive the most value from the vehicle. This user guide will explain how to safely operate the vehicle and provide general care and troubleshooting information.
Minimal-approved service providers are best qualified to service your Pedal 4. Minimal continues to seek advancements in all aspects of the vehicle. Therefore, there may be minor discrepancies between your Minimal Pedal 4 and these instructions.

1.1 General Notice
Please read this user manual carefully to understand the vehicle before operating. For your safety, inspect all components as described in this guide prior to each ride. If you encounter any issues, contact Minimal for assistance.
Riders should be conscious of how the laden state of the Pedal 4 will impact its behaviour, with braking distances and cornering in particular impacted.
- Please follow local traffic laws. Exercise caution on slippery roads in bad weather to allow for greater braking distances.
- Riding regularly through deep water may lead to corrosion, premature motor or battery failure and/or impact braking performance negatively.
- It is advised not to dismantle the Pedal 4 on your own. Where possible, use authorised service providers and contact Minimal for replacement parts.
1.2 Safety Notice
Using a safety helmet is advisable. Please follow the user manual to fully understand how to operate the Pedal 4 before using on public roads. Please note of weather conditions, braking distance in wet and cold weather can be much longer.
- Exercise caution at railway crossings, junctions, tunnels and bridges - especially in unclear conditions, reduce speed accordingly.
- Avoid excessive use of high beam as they may impair the vision of other road users.
- Refrain from using mobile phones or electronic devices that can distract your attention while riding.
- Always signal before changing lanes; abrupt, unsignaled lane changes are a leading cause of accidents.
- Check your mirrors for approaching vehicles before manoeuvering.

The Pedal 4 operates on the same concept as an electrically powered bicycle. Meaning the following bicycle laws apply to the vehicle within the UK. It does not need a vehicle registration plate and the rider does not need a drivers license to operate the Pedal 4.
However Minimal recommends personnel using the vehicle to be familiar with its operation and have read this user guide in full.

All information and instructions provided in this manual have been complied in compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Reflecting industry best practices and extensive expertise, the manufacturer accepts no liability for damages arising from the following circumstances:
- Failure to adhere to the instructions and accompanying documentation
- Operation of Minimal cargo delivery vehicles by individuals who have not received proper training or instruction
