5.1 Saddle

5.1.1 Location & Components

5.1.4 Replacement Instructions

  1. Saddle adjustment rail
  2. Saddle
  3. Top securing clamp
  4. Securing bolt
  5. Seat rail

Locate the saddle

Remove the securing bolt

  • Using a T40 Torx bit, unscrew the bolt fully until the top securing clamp is released.
  • Keep hold of the saddle while removing the bolt to prevent it from falling.

Remove and replace the saddle

  • Ensure the saddle is removed carefully so that the securing clamp and nut are not lost.

Position the saddle comfortably

  • Adjust the saddle until it sits in a preferred riding position.
  • Ensure the saddle rails are correctly seated in the adjustment rail and align with the guide notches.

Secure the saddle

  • Place the top securing clamp and nut over the saddle rails,
  • Apply loctite to the bolt and tighten to 29Nm using the torque wrench.
